Board Design Process

The focus of Nike IDB is on the technical side of the design of the board. So when people use the interface / application to design their own board, most attention will go into the materials and technology available and then the last stage is the colour / aesthetic design.
I've been sieving through numerous board brand websites, documenting whatever information they have on the technology they use. From this I intend to collate together the best and newest technology out there at the moment, define what exactly everything is and then re-name / brand it all for Nike Snowboarding.

With some thought and concluding from the research these will be the sections of the design process...

What I've tried to do is take all the technology and terms for them (which each brand differ on, making their own up along with logos / icons) and create new terms for them all specific to Nike Snowboarding.
Coming at this pro / technical tone of voice I thought using large numbers would be a good way of signifying this, relating it more to math / physics etc! Furthermore it is something that is used on the website...

So having, where possible all the options transformed into numbers / codes, will make it much more technical looking, I think anyway. Have to wait and see.
