Surf Europe

Surf Europe, again another leading international magazine.

Analysis...

Cover;
Strong imagery. dark, earthy colours. Helvetica title.

Interesting point, magazine printed on recycled paper, surfers are hippies.
One with the earth, this point is somewhat backed up by the imagery and kind of thesis behind surfing culture.

Double Page Spreads...










Overall a strong focus on photography, essentially images of waves and surfers. Any copy or type takes a back seat and throughout it is kept to a minimum. The type that is included however seems well thought through and carefully designed. Creating a different yet consistent style throughout.
