Why not introduce NikeID to these board sports, allowing full / some sort of customisation to the board artwork.
Giving the choice of colour and maybe further decisions up to the customer. This would also, to my knowledge, be the first of its kind in producing custom boards...

This could be developed further, much like the NikeID for trainers, if there was a choice of type of board. So within Snowboarding / Skiing whether it was for freestyle / freeriding / all mountain. Within Surfing, it would be the various amounts of shapes available. Wakeboarding I'm not so sure what the differences are between boards but I imagine its similar to snowboarding / surfing.
Then if I was to design 4 different artworks across each area, these then being able to totally customise.
Then the choice of size / width.
