A very interesting point I found is that as well as Nike 6.0 and the corresponding teams within that, Nike also has separate brands for skateboarding and most recently snowboarding.

Nike Skateboarding or rather Nike SB is its own brand, dedicated to skateboarding and most notably Paul Rodriguez.

Much different to the 6.0 sites and the main pages for Nike. Definitely a fresher, young look. Loses a lot of the gloss and 'corporateness' of the other nike pages,

It also has a different pro rider team (different in terms of Nike 6.0)

I feel as though Nike have stepped away from their usual visual identity and created something that fits in with, trendy, sub-culture fashion / music inspired trends if you will, taking the brands below as example, there websites being of a similar simple style.
