Nike 6.0 Snowboarding

Nike 6.0 Snowboarding. Arguably the biggest one out of the different sports.

A good insight to the visual culture of snowboarding and how 6.0 gets its brand out there, banners, stickers, endorsements and sponsors, competition stages, the list goes on.
Whats interesting I believe is how Snowboarding is a sport that is growing and growing every year, and more so how its becoming more consumerist and being about who's sponsored by what, competitions prove this with riders drinking specific drinks in front of cameras. More money is being thrown into snowboarding, (despite the UK olympic fund for snowboarding being cut to zero) making it more accessible for brands and companies to get there names out there and affiliate themselves with something that is seen as being young, trendy and cool. Whats next?
