Swatch TTR Trophy

This is the template Swatch have released. 

The brief is to design artwork for the trophy then taking the same design to a watch. The winner of the comp getting their design printed onto the trophy for 2011 / 2012 season and also Swatch will produce the watch as a limited edition series.  

This is the logo for the championship, red and black colour scheme something that I would see as something that must be used on the trophy. So the colour palette, in my mind, is already set. white, black and red.

In terms of my ideas for the artwork I would like to come up with some concept or idea first to take forward with the design, and not just produce some pretty looking thing. This is my next task.
