Having some concerns with this idea of champagne splashed over the trophy.
Firstly to get the design to clearly look like liquid droplets is really hard, the best way to get the ideal effect would be to photograph something of a similar material to glass, photographing it with water splashed on it, to try and get the finished look of the latter image.
Even if I get the latter image down, the connotations of the image will mostly be water and not champagne.
The other problem is something I've found with the top image. Remove the champagne bottle, and the explosion looks a bit risqué. Not what I'm after.
I will try and photograph something white / black to get the desired effect however I think i may have to change the concept a little bit.
An alternative would be to have the trophy as a kind of champagne bottle itself, the base being a champagne label...
Making the label look a bit fancy like the one above.
